Origins and Inspiration
The idea for Opportunity arose in 2022 to solve a real and critical problem: the lack of effective solutions for choking when no help is available nearby. Over the years, we have worked on developing and refining an automatic, self-applicable device designed to save lives quickly and easily.
Project Evolution
2022
Initial designs and prototypes V1, V2, and V3.
2023
Development of prototypes V4 and V5. Selected in the CEIN Health accelerator, where we won the Best Project Award.
2024
Participation in CEIN Scaleup and the Berriup accelerator. Initiation of initial preclinical validations with the University of Navarra and the Institute of Health Research of Santiago de Compostela (IDIS).
2025
Patent application for Opportunity and entry into the regulatory phase to obtain the CE marking, which will allow its commercialization as a safe and certified medical device in Europe.
